I’m Michael, and I was born and raised in a suburban area of Pittsburgh, PA as the youngest of four. Growing up, my family spent a lot of time outdoors and cared for a variety of pets, including golden retrievers, a boxer, cats, and a bird. My parents were loving and supportive, and they raised me with strong family values like honesty, love, integrity, and a solid work ethic. From a young age, I developed a love for the outdoors, hiking, and taking care of pets.
I learned to ice skate at 7, started playing ice hockey at 10, and became an avid skier. After graduating from college in 1985, I earned my master’s degree in Psychology from Duquesne University in 1989. I’ve enjoyed a long and meaningful career in behavioral health, helping individuals and families recover from mental health issues. Alongside my professional career, I’ve always had a deep love for animals and plenty of experience in dog care. I worked at Man’s Best Friend dog daycare for about 1.5 years, which gave me confidence in walking and caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
I’ve owned several dogs and cats throughout my life and am passionate about ensuring they are well cared for. As a mature, dependable, and responsible person, I’m excited to offer loving overnight pet care in Vero Beach. Your pets will be in great hands with me!
