How to prepare for your meet and greet with your pet sitter

Once you are ready to meet us, please contact us to set up a free introduction visit. We stop by for a short visit to meet your animals. At this time, please have a key or a code ready for us so we can pick it up when we meet. While we are at your home, we bond with your animals and make a note of where you keep your leash and dog food, and we listen to your special instructions. If you have difficulties downloading our dog walking app to your phone, we also help you with that because we send notifications,  photos, and videos each time we walk your dog.

Benefits of daily dog walking

The benefit of exercising your dogs is most importantly affects your dog’s weight and body condition. In other words, obesity is not just a human health issue; regular dog walking can also keep the excess weight off of your dog. Moreover, joint health and immobility are other common health problems in dogs when they are sedentary for too long but regular dog walking helps regulate their digestive and urinary health too. When urine sits in the bladder for long periods of time, bladder infections are more likely to occur in dogs.

Besides physical health benefits, we can’t forget about your dog’s mental and emotional health. Walking exercises the mind as well as the body and gives your dog great mental stimulation. Most importantly dog walking releases excess energy and helps dogs sleep better and avoid destruction and attention-seeking behaviors such as excessive barking or whining during the day. Dog Walking

Dog Walking

If you work long hours and can’t rush home to walk your dogs during the day, you no longer have to worry because we are here to walk your dog. Our dog walks are usually a half hour, but we can offer a longer one-hour exercise or just a 15 minutes pee break. Before we start walking your dog(s), we offer a free introduction visit. During our meeting, we discuss your routine and bond with our animals. Like other dog walkers, we do not offer group walks,  but we only take your dog or dogs for exercise to keep them safe. While we walk your dog, we watch out for potential dangers such as other loose dogs in the neighborhood, poisonous toads, hot pavement, and of course traffic. During our dog walk we clean up after your dog as usual.
