Hello, my name is Nicole and I am pet-sitting in PSL. I’m originally from Rhode Island, where I grew up riding horses and playing outside. Throughout my life I have always had a deep compassion for animals and that has only deepened with age. I currently have two very lovely cats, Rory and Shae. I’ve always had cats and always will, I simply can’t imagine life without a furry toddler. My love of dogs is near equal,
with my first being a German Shepard when I was in elementary school.
My GSD was exceptional and fostered in me a love for large breed dogs. After his passing it was 3 long years before my family started looking for another dog, and another year after that before we adopted our “Beau”. To find a Beauceron in the United States, let alone one up for adoption, was incredibly rare and felt a lot like fate. He has since passed on and I find that watching other people’s dogs has helped soothe
that dog-shaped ache in my heart.
My experience in caring for pets reaches beyond just cats and dogs. Over the past two decades I’ve had turtles, frogs, a ball python, a chinese water dragon, a cockatiel, and multiple freshwater aquariums. I love rats, mice, rabbits, and all manner of livestock as well. There are no species I won’t take care of.
