My name is Jen and I am your local pet sitter and dog walker in Hypoluxo FL. For over 20 years I have worked in corporate America assisting businesses across the globe with Human Capital Management, Employment Law, Compliance, and Leadership Development (among other things). Most recently, I held the role Chief Business Officer at Second Chance Animal Services, where I gratefully got to blend my lifelong business expertise with my absolute passion for animals and animal welfare. I have managed multiple large scale animal hospitals and emergency centers for many years and was lucky enough to adopt, rescue and help many pets along the way. I currently have two fur-babies that I reside with; my English Bulldog, a 5-year-old neutered male, who’s claim to fame is that he was the only pup that “graduated” from his obedience school class! Today, his whole world revolves around tennis balls and playtime followed by “couch potato time”; and also a 4-year-old, spayed female Chocolate Labrador Retriever, who is bred to “retrieve” but would rather let her brother do the actual “fetching” while she “looks pretty” and greets all the other pups in our neighborhood. I have been lucky enough to work remotely from home for the past 4 years but am stepping away from the “daily grind” to truly enjoy our little piece of paradise here in South Florida! We are a very active pack, enjoying trips to our private dog park, beaches, and hiking adventures, but we really like snuggling at home the best.
Whether helping our House and Hound Care clients in their homes, my home, or just daily walks and check ins, I assure you, your fur-babies will be loved and cared for as if they were my own! I am happy to administer any medications (SubQ fluids, injections, pills, etc.) while looking for any signs of distress or injury, and provide massage, Reiki, or calming techniques where needed.
There is no greater satisfaction than the smiles and affection we get from our well-exercised and happy pups! I look forward to pet-sitting your pets in Hypoluxy to have them live long, healthy lives full of belly rubs, play, exercise, and smooches!
