Hi, my name is Brittany, your overnight pet sitter in Tamarac. I was born in Miami Florida but I have had the chance to travel all over. Travel has also provided me an opportunity to work with animals of all kinds from domestic to exotic.
I love animals and always have since I was small. I have always wanted to be a veterinarian. One of my first jobs as a teenager started a Metropark zoo. Knowing exactly what I wanted to do in life I went on to inquire about an internship for the animal nursery which is where my journey began. And years later I have had several animal care positions from jobs to volunteering. I am currently in school to finish my education as a vet tech. With over 7 years of experience in animal handling, kennel care, restraints, and now vet tech, I’ve had the chance to work with some of the best animal care companies from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach.
Not only have I been able to have these amazing experiences but these experiences also make me well rounded. My passion for animals extends way beyond my work and since I have had animals of my own I am confident and comfortable around all animals.
Rescuing and rehabilitation stray animals while working with rescue centers in my area has been the best times of my life. I plan to do the same and open a rescue center of my own one day. I volunteered for the Sea Turtle Night Watch at Fort Lauderdale Beach and plan to continue volunteering where I have the opportunity.
Get to know me outside of animal care. I have many different hobbies outside of work such as Art, drawing and painting, singing writing music, ambassador for two online clothing companies for social media, photography, paddle boarding, swimming, traveling, and meeting new people from all over.
I take pride in myself and my work. I am an honest loving and caring person and I am confident that I will have a positive and significant effect on all of the clients and animals I meet shortly.
