Michael was born and raised in a suburban area of Pittsburgh, PA and he is the youngest of four. His family enjoyed the outdoors and having a variety of pets; including, golden retrievers, a boxer, cats, and a bird. His parents were loving and supportive and he was raised to respect family values; such as honesty, love, integrity, work ethic academic achievement, and athletics. He has always loved the outdoors, hiking, and caring for pets. He participated in winter sports and learned to ice skate when he was 7. He began playing ice hockey when he was 10 and became an avid skier. Michael graduated from college in 1985 and went on to earn a master’s degree in Psychology from Duquesne University in 1989. He has enjoyed a long and meaningful career in behavioral health and has helped many individuals and family members with recovery from mental health problems. Michael has always loved animals and has experience with dog care. He worked at Man Best Friend helping with the dog daycare for about 1.5 years and has confidence in walking and caring for all types of dogs, large and small. Michael also loves all kinds of pets and has enjoyed owning several dogs and cats. He is a mature, dependable, responsible, and kind person who will provide loving overnight pet care in Vero Beach.
