Hello, my name is Jackie and I am one of your local dog walkers in Miami Shores, FL. Born and raised in Miami Shores, I am dedicated to taking care of pets who reside in the northeast areas of Miami Dade County. My love of animals began at a very early age. I grew up helping to care for my family’s Boxers, hamsters, cats, turtles, and hermit crabs. One of the fondest memories from my childhood (and well into adulthood!) was rescuing strays with my Mom and begging my Dad to keep them. That didn’t always go as planned, but we did manage to find these precious animals loving homes. That passion led me to volunteer at The Humane Society where I adopted Lexi who has been my devoted companion, travel buddy, and fearless protector for the past decade.
I began pet sitting/walking in 2012 and have worked with Great Pyrenees, Yorkies, Bichons, Beagles, Pitbull mixes, English Springer Spaniels, Shepard mixes, and Koi fish. I have also cared for puppies, kittens, and cats of all ages. I have a compassionate connection with ailing and senior pets and will do whatever it takes to ensure they feel safe and loved.
