Dog Sitter in Miramar

My name is Victoria Hernandez. I am excited to be your dog sitter in Miramar! I am passionate about animals having worked over a year at PetSmart, I learned a lot about the care of dogs and cats through my experience as a cashier and retail sales associate. I received Employee of the Month for my strong skills in advising customers on any situation regarding their pets, especially dogs. I assisted in finding the right products, gave knowledgeable crate training advice for new puppy owners, and answered any questions that came along the way with compassion and expertise. I have also volunteered in animal hospitals, assisting in kennel duties like feeding, bathing, and walking. I have had my shitzu, Camila for eleven years now and I crate trained her as well as taught her to perform tricks all on my own and she was my first ever puppy. She now only allows me to clean her eyes and ears because she knows I am more gentle and calming in my tone of voice when I talk to her as I am cleaning her as opposed to my older sister who tries to clean her sometimes. I love doing the dirty and oftentimes, tedious work it takes to care for animals and I’ve had almost every pet except for a cat. Dogs are very comfortable towards me and I usually gain their trust and affection rather quickly. My favorite thing to do with a dog is walk them and watch as they sniff the world around them and I love to cuddle and sleep with my dog on my bed or the couch. I have more experience with smaller breeds but can handle larger breeds as well. I have always been the kind of person to notice everyone’s dog in shopping malls or any other public place and ask its owner if it’s okay for me to pet them. Usually, the dog runs up to me and sniffs me as if they have known me for a long time which is so sweet. I have always felt a connection to animals ever since I was a little girl. I have a strong work ethic, I am always on time, and very responsible. But, most importantly, I treat every animal as if they are my own, like family and with respect. I am very excited to be your dog sitter in Miramar!
