Dog Boarding in Wellington FL
I’m Aren! I’m a sitter located in the Royal Palm Beach area, right outside of Wellington. I offer private dog boarding in my home one dog at a time. If you have two dogs and they get along with my very friendly dog, I would take care of both your dogs in my clean and tidy dog-friendly home.
If I come off shy, you can put a quarter in me real quick by bringing up movies. I’m a veteran of the 75th Ranger Regiment, and I have ambitions in the world of Cinema, as well as the creation of many entrepreneurial ventures and a School. I’m a very ambitious person and have always gotten along better with dogs than people. I’m really excited about the opportunity to rest and be happy caring for these animals, making friends, and enjoying the sunshine together.
I’ve been pet sitting my whole life independently, but started doing it a lot more regularly after I had enlisted into the Army on the weekends when we weren’t training, that was in 2013.
Growing up we had dogs of all sorts, cocker spaniels, beagles, retrievers. We had a Great Pyrenees named Charlie who was my best friend during my childhood. Currently, I live with my dog, Ellie. She’s really sweet and even lets me sleep in the bed.
Since I’ve gotten out of the Army, I’ve spent time studying Storytelling as a filmmaker earning my first BFA, and I have also earned a BA in Psychology. I’m currently studying Philosophy at a graduate program and will be changing course to continue my graduate studies in film production in the near future.
Pet sitting is something I have always enjoyed, as I have always gotten along better with animals than people. Not for nothing, people are great, dogs and I just get along. We always have.
I think I’d be a great sitter for your pet because I’ve always put in a genuine effort to understand the psychology of the animal from a more primal and instinctive standpoint and meet them at their level, and I treat them with the same courtesy and respect as I do a person.
Some may differ in beliefs and argue that animals do not have eternal souls — I argue that Jesus was a huge animal lover and that nowhere does the bible say or even suggest that animals do not have eternal souls — and I believe that they do. I believe a dog is a soul inside of one body, and my soul is inside of another, and the difference in shape size, and color of a body doesn’t change what is underneath.
I am trained as a first responder but have never taken specific dog training first responder courses.
If your animal needs help administering any medicine, or some grooming or training needs during their stay— this will be no problem for me.
I don’t speak any languages besides English, but I did study Sign Language for 5 years and can keep up!
