My name is Jordan and I am your local cat sitter and dog walker in Wellington, FL. I am a long-time pet lover. Besides loving on animals, I enjoy paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, and whatever else I can do in the outdoors! I am located in Wellington, FL.
I grew up with guinea pigs, dogs, and horses, but I currently only have 1 horse, as well as recently welcomed a young ball python to the family.
I have pet-sat for many friends and family members since 2019 and have loved being able to meet many dogs, cats, and enthusiastic pet owners. Therefore, I decided that working with House and Hound would allow me the chance to meet many more, all while allowing the pet’s parents a peace of mind while they are away!
Besides pet-sitting, I have been an avid equestrian my whole life, becoming a professional at the age of 18, while competing and taking care of my own horses and sometimes others from time to time. Expanding my love for animals, I most recently worked as an Equine veterinary technician at Palm Beach Equine Clinic which taught me a lot about veterinary medicine. I previously worked at Advanced Equine Imaging of Wellington, assisting in MRI imaging and bone scans.
The knowledge I have learned over the years with all types of animals has made me comfortable knowing I can act accordingly with any situation that arises. I pride myself in being able to be calm and patient around animals while also being quick on my feet and proactive.
I am happy to exercise and play with your pets, as well as groom or bathe as needed. I am also comfortable administering oral or topical medications. Your current training regime will also be continued to make sure no bad habits are picked up.
