My name is Jessica Myers. You can call me Jess. My love for animals is why I enjoy pet sitting.
Ever since I can remember, I have always been around animals. I grew up in a household of many furry friends.
Over the years, we have had several cats, dogs, rabbits, frogs, bearded dragons, and even lizards. They are part of our family. Some came to us to live with us forever. Others were fostered until we could find them suitable homes.
My mother was very influential in teaching me to love and care for them. She and my brother work at an animal hospital.
I have bottle-fed kittens and puppies. I have helped take care of senior pets at the end of their lives. For several years, we fostered pets and worked with issues to get the pets adoptable. Some of my fondest memories are volunteering for rescues. My mother had me volunteering with her at a very young age. We would walk, bathe and work with the pets to get them adoptable. I attended the adoption events and was able to communicate with the potential adopters the characteristics of the pets.
I have a true passion for learning and understanding all kinds of animals. My hobbies include baking, reading, going to the beach, and spending quality time with my family and pets.
