Overnight Pet Sitter in Wellington, FL
My name is Sydney, and I am your local overnight pet sitter in Wellington. Born and raised in Florida, I enjoy exercising, paddle boarding, and being a roller coaster thrill seeker. Growing up, we always had animals in our house, including a dachshund, a boxer, and always a cat. Currently, I have a German shepherd/malinois, an American bulldog, two lazy male cats, and one superior princess female cat.
I got my first job as a volunteer at Ibis Animal Hospital when I was a senior in high school. I moved up from a kennel tech to a vet technician, learning from my peers and veterinarians. I worked as a tech and receptionist for six years, gaining skills in medication administration, insulin shots, safe handling of dogs and cats, and nail trimmings. I began pet sitting while working at the animal hospital ten years ago, caring for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, llamas, alpacas, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, turtles, and macaws. Most of them I cared for until they crossed the rainbow bridge.
After working at the animal hospital, I was a chiropractic assistant and behavioral health tech until I was diagnosed with breast cancer at twenty-five. It’s been four years since then, and I most recently worked as a dispatcher for a small tech company. I am excited to provide overnight pet sitting services in the Wellington location with House and Hound Care and share my passion for animals. I am great with communication, sticking to the schedule, and always keeping your animals safe, with the best intentions at heart.
I look forward to being your trusted overnight pet sitter in Wellington and providing loving care for your furry family members.
